The pandemic serves as a reminder of what an incredible community we have — one driven by the common purpose of caring for and serving vulnerable patients and families in their most significant time of need. Now, more than ever, it is important that we have the opportunity to come together as a community to honor and remember those we lost.
Light Up a Life events have always been a place where people can gather as a community to remember their loved ones — and we’re thankful we’re able to hold a live event this year. We hope that honoring this long-time tradition will provide healing and comfort within our community.
Please join us
Saturday, December 4th at Constitution Park*, Camarillo from 4:30 to 5:30 pm
Our uplifting memorial will feature acts of remembrance as well as the beautifully lit Tree of Life. Everyone is welcome, and the event is free to attend.
If you’re unable to attend, we’ll have a recording of the event — along with the poignant video tribute — available on our website. We look forward to seeing you at this heartwarming event.
You can Light Up a Life by making a special donation to remember or honor loved ones.
With your gift of $25 or more, a star with you loved one’s name will be displayed on our online memory book. Your can share your star with your family and friends on Facebook.
This year, our enhanced online tribute video will include messages of remembrance along with photos of loved ones. The online tribute will be available for viewing throughout the holiday season, starting December 6th. Our Online Memory Book and Photo Tribute Video will be available all year.
We are grateful to the hundreds of donors who participate each year. Each fully tax-deductible gift supports — and ensures the continuation of — compassionate hospice and bereavement programs throughout Ventura.
