Palliative Care

Palliative care focuses on relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness, with a goal to improve the quality of life for the patient and the family.

Through palliative care, our treatment team will address the whole family’s emotional, spiritual, and social needs. Your team also considers your acute medical treatment and then assigns the necessary resources. Should you improve, you are then able to transition to home health and recover. If, however, your condition worsens, the team is already in place to transition you to hospice care.
