Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association announced today that longtime Medical Director Lanyard K. Dial, M.D. retired from his medical leadership role at the end of 2025, concluding nearly four decades of service that helped shape the standard of home health and hospice care throughout Ventura County. Dr. Dial joined Livingston in 1986 as Medical Director and later served as President & CEO from 2007 to 2021. His long-standing dedication has strengthened care for older adults, homebound patients, and those facing serious or life-limiting illness.

Ryan McKinney, M.D. assumed the role on January 1st, 2026, of full-time Medical Director for hospice and home health services. Dr. McKinney currently serves as a hospitalist at Community Memorial Hospital and Ojai Valley Community Hospital, teaches inpatient medicine within Community Memorial Healthcare’s Graduate Medical Education program, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences. He also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Pacific Inpatient Physicians and holds several leadership positions within the Community Memorial Healthcare. Dr. McKinney brings a dynamic blend of clinical expertise, leadership experience, and a deep commitment to community-based care. His reputation for collaborative, patient-centered medicine makes him an exceptional fit to guide Livingston’s next chapter of care in home health and hospice services.

Joining him in medical leadership are Colin Scibetta, M.D., and Jerold Noah, M.D., who will support Livingston’s clinical teams and strengthen continuity of care across programs. Dr. Scibetta serves as Associate Medical Director and Faculty Educator with Community Memorial Hospital. He has been with Community Memorial since 2018. Dr. Noah is a board-certified family medicine physician and has served as a hospitalist with Ventura County Medical Center since 2013. Together, this expanded medical leadership team positions Livingston to meet the growing and evolving needs of Ventura County patients and families.

“This transition represents both a meaningful milestone and an exciting new chapter for Livingston,” said Molly Corbett, President & CEO. “Dr. Dial’s decades of service have deeply influenced who we are as an organization, and we are profoundly grateful for his leadership. We look forward to welcoming Dr. McKinney as our new Medical Director and continuing our mission of delivering exceptional, compassionate care to our community.”Founded in 1947, Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association is Ventura County’s only non-profit provider offering the full continuum of in-home care, including Home Health, Palliative, Hospice, and Caregivers.
