The Medical Social Worker provides counseling, education and resource referral to the patient in accordance with accreditation guidelines, Federal and State rules and regulations, accepted Standards of Social Work Practice and LMVNA policies and procedures.

This position has the primary responsibility for managing and implementing the Livingston’s annual fundraising plan generated as part of the strategic plan. This includes all aspects of a comprehensive fundraising plan including but not limited to a grant program, community newsletter, special events, memorial gifts, donor cultivation for major gifts, Planned Giving Program, as well as other direct mail and fundraising activities. This position shall also assist with public relations. This person will work closely with the Board of Directors, the Development Committee of the Board, the President/CEO, the Vice President/CAO, and Livingston volunteers to enhance and support the overall mission of Livingston and to ensure that ample unrestricted and program funds are generated.

Due to the nature of this position, it is required that this person be present onsite during business hours, unless required for events or other business needs.

CALIFICACIONES Y REQUISITOS: 

• A minimum BS Degree in Business or related field.
• Five years experience in fundraising; i.e., community-based annual fund-raising programs, donor cultivation (individual, corporate and foundation), marketing, public relations, grant writing, and nonprofit management.
