In recognition of the founding of Livingston and honoring

Soiree at the Ranch was a huge success. Livingston raised over $311,000, just a few thousand shy of our fundraising goal. All proceeds will go directly towards supporting our programs. These programs provide vital services such as home health care, hospice, palliative care, grief and bereavement counseling, and caregiving to Ventura County residents.

Livingston’s founding nurse Olivia Hathaway made her first house call 75 years ago. By 1955, the agency’s three nurses were visiting nearly 300 patients a year—and a third were residents who could not pay. Livingston remains Ventura County’s only nonprofit provider of comprehensive home healthcare, medical hospice, and in-home support. Today, Livingston home health care professionals see nearly 5,000 patients per year and continue to provide care to the majority of the county’s uninsured and underinsured.

Terri and Mark Lisagor are most deserving of this recognition. The Lisagors are avid family-focused community leaders, travelers, philanthropists, and humanitarians—devoting their lives to serving others. Terri is a retired professor of nutrition and food science with degrees from UCLA, CSU Northridge and Pepperdine University. Mark, also a UCLA Alumnus, is a retired pediatric dentist and serves as a trustee on the Ventura County Board of Education. They are beacons of light in our community and go to all corners of the world providing dental care and nutrition education to those less fortunate.
