We\u2019re excited to recognize Hanna as this month\u2019s Volunteer of the Month! Although she\u2019s a new addition to Livingston, Hanna has already made a remarkable impact in the Thousand Oaks community, bringing warmth, connection, and joy to the board and care homes she visits.

\nWhile Hanna is new to Livingston, she is no stranger to hospice and home health.
\n–<\/span>
\n\u201cI began working in hospice at 17 and was immediately drawn to the deep connections formed and the incredible resilience of individuals who remained positive even in their hardest moments. Home health and hospice always felt like a natural fit for me. Although life has pulled me in another direction, I chose to volunteer with Livingston because I wanted to keep building those meaningful connections.\u201d

\nHanna currently visits two homes in Thousand Oaks, where she can be found laughing, chatting, coloring, and even playing poker with residents. One homeowner shared:

\n\u201cHanna\u2019s positive attitude toward our elderly makes a significant impact on our community. She gives the residents undivided, respectful attention.\u201d

\nHanna reflected on her experience, saying:

\n\u201cEven in the short time I\u2019ve been with Livingston, I\u2019ve witnessed so much warm laughter and strength in the homes I visit. I\u2019m truly inspired by the residents and feel incredibly grateful to be a part of the Livingston community.\u201d
