Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and depends on fundraising in order to subsidize the cost of home health and hospice care for patients with inadequate financial resources. Appreciated Securities:
Gifts of long-term appreciated securities such as stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares are the most tax-wise way to make a contribution. You will receive a charitable tax deduction at the fair market value of the securities on the date of the gift, without having to pay capital gains tax on the appreciation. Please instruct your broker to transfer the securities directly to Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association.
