HOME HEALTH CARE
Who Will Pay?

Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association (LMVNA) accepts Medicare, Medi-Cal and private insurance plans. Medicare and Medi-Cal pay for home health care at 100%. If the patient has another plan he or she may be required to pay a deductible or co-payment. The generosity of community support enables LMVNA to offer an adjusted fee schedule for some patients based on their ability to pay. Contact LMVNA to find out more about in home care no matter what the patient’s ability to pay.

Referrals and requests for services may be called to the Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association admissions office by insurance and Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) case managers, physicians, and or hospital personnel.

Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association is Ventura County’s oldest nonprofit home health care agency. Donations to LMVNA help continue to provide health services for those in need.

Subsidized Care
Livingston Memorial Visiting Nurse Association provides its services at a reduced or zero cost to patients who are not able to pay, based upon the available resources of the organization. We strive to provide comprehensive home health care including hospice services to all qualified patients of Ventura County without discrimination as to race, creed, sex or diagnosis, and regardless of ability to pay.
